Rawalpindi, March 14: While expressing dissatisfaction on reformation of the Islamic Ideology Council, Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi has said that the absence of representation from all the Islamic schools of thought in institutions made for Islamization, is a clear violation of the constitution of Pakistan. Members appointed in Islamic Ideology Council may be considered as the representatives of government but can never be the true representatives of the established Islamic schools of thought. He said this while addressing to an emergency meeting of Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya and its sub organizations.

He expressed regrets on politicizing the seats of Islamic institutions on the same way as the seats of senate and other institutions are politicized in the country and termed it a big question mark. He said that Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah belonged to Shia school of thought while Allama Muhammad Iqbal was a Sunni. Similarly, there is no sectarian binding for the appointments of President, Prime Minister, Army Chief, or Chairman Senate, then why a Shia has never been appointed as the head of an Islamic institution such as Islamic Ideology Council, Ministry of religious affairs, Royat e Hilaal Committee, and Sharia Court. Why the chief Justice does not take notice of this inconsistency? As this practice has been a clear contradiction with the principles of Baba e Qaum Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the architect of Pakistan Allama Muhammad Iqbal and depicts Pakistan as a sectarian state.

He demanded that the headship of Islamic institutions must be rotated among all the established schools of thoughts one after the other. Agha Mousavi reminded that Pakistan was founded on the name of Islam and Maktab e Ahl e Sunnat and Maktab e Tashayyo equally participated in its creation therefore, denying the rights of any of these schools of thought would be an attempt to destabilize our beloved homeland. No power on earth can corner any of these two established Islamic schools of thought. He said that desecration of Islamic states on the basis of race, sects and groups and making them fight against each other was the agenda of the colonial powers while announcement of Zia ul Haq to convert Pakistan into a sectarian state was the continuation of the same agenda which was successfully thwarted by Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya in Past while it will keep defending the basic ideology of Pakistan in future also.

Agha Mousavi said that to defend the solidarity, integrity and respect of Pakistan has been our basic aim and we are willing to scarify everything for it. Agha Mousavi said that colonial powers are making every possible attempt to destabilize Pakistan therefore; strengthening the internal security of Pakistan is the only way to defend against the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan. He also condemned the terrorism incidents and said that an effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism act in its true spirit is the need of time and the only solution of the problem of terrorism. The meeting of TNFJ will continue on Monday.
