RAWALPINDI, March 11: Ayyam Saug announced by Quaid e Millat e Jafria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosvi- to pay homage to the senior TNFJ leader Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi – concluded on Thursday.  Recitation of Holy Quran followed by mourning gathering was held at Imam Bargah Zain Ul Abideen (pbuh) Rawalpindi In connection with the ritual of Soyam of the late Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi.

Central Secretary Information TNFJ Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, while addressing the gathering, paid homage to the national and religious efforts made by Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi.  He said that Syed Najam Kazmi was an asset of TNFJ and was respected amongst the youngsters and elders alike due to his pious character and charming personality.  He said that Syed Najam kazmi was always the front man of TNFJ on every occasion, rendering services and working hard to make each and every program successful.  TNFJ Spokesman said that Syed Najam Kazmi will always be remembered for his services to the nation.

He stated that Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi kept his vow and pledge to Quaid e Millat e Jafria and kept working as an honest worker of TNFJ till death.  He said that the death of Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi is an irreparable loss and it will be impossible to fill his space.  On this occasion, the members of all the sub branches and sister organizations of TNFJ pledged to struggle for the Mission of Wila o Aza and to be ready for all kinds of sacrifice for the cause under the pious leadership of Quaid e MIllat e Jafria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosvi.

Allama Sheikh Ejaz Hussain Mudarris, whilst addressing the gathering, said that Syed Najam Shah was a humble worker of TNFJ and true follower of Ehl e Bait (pbut), he was associated to TNFJ Headquarters all his life and his name will always be remembered.  He said that the space of Syed Najam Shah can never be filled.

On this occasion the participants of the gathering pledged that, by following the footsteps of Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi, they will follow every order of Quaid e Millat e Jafria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosvi.  Shan Ali Jafri and Sulaiman Muhammadi carried out noha khwani, while Allama Syed Saqlain Ali Bukhari performed the collective prayers and Fateha Khwani.  Ulema e Karam, Religious and Mourning elders, founders of majalis and TNFJ officials and workers participated in the gathering in large numbers.

Majlis e Tarheem in connection with the Ritual of Soyam of Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi - organised by Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, Umulbanin WF, Girls Guide and Sakina Generation - was held at Central Imambargah Jameatul Murtaza G 9/4 Islamabad, large number of mominat (ladies) participated in the gathering.

Umdatul Huffaz Syeda Bint e Moosa Moosvi recited the Holy Quran, while recitation of Hadith e Kisaa was carried out by Raisatul Huffaz Syeda Zainab Alvia.

Zakira Tehseen Kubra while addressing the gathering shed light on the philosophy of life and death.  She said that Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi struggled all his life for the pious goals of TNFJ.  She pledged that all the members of TNFJ will keep on working for the rights of the nation under the spiritual and pious leadership of Quaid e Millat e Jafria and no one will be allowed to bargain on the rights of Millat e Jafria.

She made it clear that life and death is created by Allah in order to test all of us in the context of our behaviour and character.  She said that death is not the end, rather transportation from one place to another.  She said that just actions give eternal life to a person and he, who dies in the love of Ehl e Bait (pbut), is a martyr.  She said that the love of Muhammad and His Holy Progeny (pbut) is the essence of life.

On this occasion a resolution was adopted to condemn the heinous acts of target killing and suicide bombings, especially the recent attacks in Peshawar and Faisalabad, gathering demanded the government to arrest the culprits of these acts of terrorism.

Concerns were expressed, in another resolution, over the tradition of having the hold of one specific school of thought in Roiyat e Hilal Committee, Islami Nazriate Council and other important institutions.  It was made clear in the resolution that Islami Nazriati Council (Islamic Ideological Council) can have a minimum of eight and maximum of twenty members therefore, there must be 10 members from the Maktab e Tashayyo, furthermore, these members should not be the choice of government, but nominated by the representative organisation i.e. TNFJ.

It was made clear that members of Islami Nazriati Council, selected this time have only been chosen due to their political affiliations and are not the true representatives of Sunni and Shia School of thoughts rather they are the representatives of government. 

It was demanded in the resolution that the government needs to make sure the proper representation of the Maktab e Tashayyo in Islami Nazriati Council and other religious institutions and these institutions should be headed by all the schools of thoughts respectively.

Zakira Shehar Bano, Doctor Khanum Zahra Gul and other speakers also addressed the gathering.
