RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – March 7: Senior leader of Tehreek Nafaz-i-Fiqh-i-Jafariya Syed Najam Abbas Kazmi alias Abu Nasr Kazmi was laid to rest. His funeral prayer led by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi was performed at Maktab-i-Tashayyo headquarters Ali Masjid.

Besides central office-bearers of TNFJ, ulema-i-karam, matmi azadaraan, majalis founders, naat khwans and noha khwans, thousands of people belonging to different stratums of life attended.

On this occasion Agha Moosavi laid wreath of flowers on behalf of TNFJ and subsidiary wings and expressed hearty condolence to the bereaved family.

Appreciating national and religious services of the deceased, Agha Moosavi announced ‘Three-day mourning’. He said the late Najam Kazmi was a dynamic activist of Tehreek, a true devotee of Prophet (SAWW) and Ahle Bait (AS) and a patriotic person who had spent all his life in Markaz-e-Maktab-i-Tashayyo for religious and national services. He efficiently worked to organize Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari processions. His sudden death is irreparable national loss.

During the funeral, matmi organizations of Rawalpindi performed noha khwani. On this occasion, heart-rending scenes were seen; members of TNFJ, its subsidiary wings, Mukhtar Force, MSO, Ibrahim Scouts, MO and Mukhtar Generation, Matmi, azadaran, and office-bearers of Milad Committees were crying for the deceased.
