Mehraj un Nabi is a great proof of pinnacle of humanity - Hamid Moosavi Disgrace of humanity is due to staying away from the teachings of the pious personalities of the religion; will have to up hold the teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) – Address of the Quaid e Millat to the Mehfil RAWALPINDI, June 30: The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Mehraj un Nabi is a proof of pinnacle of humanity when the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) attained the supreme position of devotion to Almighty Allah. This was said by him while addressing to the Mehfil of Mehraj un Nabi at the headquarters of Maktab e Tasheyyo. Aqae Moosavi reminded that technological world has benefited from the night of Mehraj and proved that every thing in this universe has been created for the benefit of human beings and humans are created to worship Almighty Allah. He said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) was granted the excellence of Mehraj which is mentioned in verse no 1 of the chapter “Bani Israel” in these words, “Glory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque of which We have blessed the precincts, so that We may show to him some of Our signs; surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing”. Word Abd (servant) applied to both the body and the soul. He said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) physically had many times Mehraj which is mentioned in the Quran in chapter Al-Najam in these words: “By the star when it descends, your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred, nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. It is not but a revelation revealed, Taught to him by one intense in strength-One of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form, While he was in the higher [part of the] horizon. Then he approached and descended, and was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer. And he revealed to His Servant what he (meant) to reveal. The heart did not lie [about] what it saw. So will you dispute with him over what he saw? And he certainly saw him in another descent, near the Lote Tree beyond which none may pass -Near it is the Garden of Refuge Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable), The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it go wrong For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest”. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Mehraj is that unique miracle which is a secret of Habib and Mehboob. He emphasized that in the whole world this unique honour was attained by our beloved Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) who was bestowed with the pinnacle of devotion to which the Holy Quran bears witness. He said that the guardian of both worlds achieved heights of devotion, a status which no-one else ever acquired. He said that in order to get back on track, humanity will have to uphold the teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and in order to liberate themselves from the difficulties and problems faced by them. He said that the real reason for human transgression and disgrace is staying away from the teachings of the pious personalities of the religion |
