It is unjust not to include members nominated by the representatives of recognized schools of thought in Islamic Ideology Council - Tanzeem Shia Aima Masajid

Ullama Karam expressed their vote of no confidence against eight new appointments by the president during the sermons of Jumma congregational prayers; Government must ask America to cease drone attacks to maintain durable peace, addresses of Allama Basharat Hussain Raja, Matloob Taqi, Hussain Naqvi and Mohsin Al Hussain.

ISLAMABAD, June 11: During the sermons of Jumma congregational prayers in the mosques of Islamabad and its outskirts, Ullama Karam emphasized on the importance of durable peace and demanded from the government to take practical steps to maintain it. According to the report issued by Tanzeem Shia Aaima Masajid, Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, while addressing Jumma congregational prayer sermon at Jamia Masjid Qasr Khadija Tul Kubra Tarlai Kalaan, said that the prosperity, progress, and defence of Pakistan is compulsory upon every subject of the country. For this purpose it is very much essential to maintain peace first. While expressing kindness and sympathy to the families of the victims of terrorism, target killing and drone attacks, he demanded from the government that it should take more practical steps to establish peace. He advised to the people that they should also be vigilant. He also emphasized that the government should immediately ask America to cease drone attacks and take concrete steps to stop continued terrorism in the country; anti-terrorism act should be channelized against all the banned groups without any favouritism. In this connection, their activities with new identities and names and their induction in public councils, political alliances and their coverage on electronic and print media should be strictly banned.

On this occasion, participants collectively accepted a resolution in which reservations were made against newly eight appointments in Islamic Ideology Council. It was made clear that member appointed by the Headquarter of Maktab e Tashayyo TNFJ would only be considered as representative of the Shia school of thought. In the resolution, the domination of same schools of thought since independence in federal Sharia Court, Royat Hilal Committee and other important religious institutions were highly criticized and was demanded from the government that all the recognized schools should be given the representation in the these institutions. It was also said that all schools of thought should be given the chairmanship of these institutions consecutively. Through another resolution, ignoring the recognized schools of thought, especially Shia School of thought, in formation of all important institutions including Islamic Ideology Council were highly condemned as was the reorganization of Islamic Ideology Council

Allama Sadiqi at Jamia Masjid Jafariya, Allama Hussain Naqvi at Masjid Ahlal Bait Wah Cantt, Allama Mohsin Al Hussaini at Masjid Qasr e Abu Talib, Allama Hussain Kazmi at Jamia Masjid Qasr Imam Musa Kazim(pbuh), Allama Fakhr Abbas Zaidi at Jamia Masjid Dhaliyala and Allama Matloob Taqi at Jamia Masjid Kazimia Rawalpindi Cantt addressed the Jumma congregational prayer sermons.
