Month of Ramadan provides an opportunity to gather the bounties and mercy of Almighty Allah – Syed Shujjat Bukhari Special security arrangements must be made during the month of Ramadan – Address to the special gathering held by Tanzeem Shia Aima Masajid ISLAMABAD, July 29: Additional secretary general for TNFJ Pakistan Syed Shujjat Ali Bukhari said that the holy month of Ramadan is a month of blessing and mercy; therefore everyone should act according to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh & hhp) and abstain from doing what is forbidden. He said that for this purpose instead of the politics of deception and personal likes and dislikes, the national interest should be kept in view and tolerance and respect should be shown towards others. This was stated by him while addressing a seminar “Importance of Ramadan” in connection with “a week to welcome Ramadan” chaired by the chairman of Tanzeem Shia Aima Masajid, Hujjat Ul Islam Syed Hussain Kazmi at Al Kazim Shujjat Bukhari said that the month of Ramadan is the month of piety and worship and the biggest worship of all in this month is fasting as Almighty Allah has said that “fasting is for me, and I will repay for it”. He said that the benefits of fasting are so many that if a person duly completes this month with respect, all his previous sins are forgiven; that is the reason that fasting is called a “shield” because the person fasting during the month of Ramadan tries to abstain from all sins and evil and, on the other hand, tries to do good. Shujjat Bukhari said that the true Muslim greets the month of Ramadan by repenting, worshiping and doing good in order to please Almighty Allah and that the holy month of Ramadan gives us an opportunity to understand the true meaning of Islam. Ramadan gives us a chance to realize our mistakes and, with submissiveness, seek forgiveness from Almighty Allah so that we can be worthy of His pardon. He said that the holy Quran, the guidance to mankind, was sent down in this holy month and if today humanity acts according to the teachings of the Holy Quran, the world can get rid of terrorism, killings and intolerance. He said that it is imperative to follow the Holy Quran in order to make this world a better place for everyone. He said that the motherland, Pakistan, is facing political crisis for which the public is concerned and that it is the duty of the Muslim Nation to understand the conspiracies of the colonial and satanic powers and to show mutual respect, tolerance and unity in order to cope with these conspiracies. On this occasion Allama Hussain Kazmi appreciated the stance of TNFJ on the national and international issues and pledged that they will spare no sacrifice on any call of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. |
