Youm e Baisat e Nabvi was commemorated with great religious zeal and reverence throughout the country; Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with his generous and pious character changed the humanity – Ulema addressed to special gatherings

RAWALPINDI, July 01: Youm e Baisat e Nabvi announced by Quaid e Millate Jafriyya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosvi was celebrated with religious spirit and respect throughout the country.  Religious gatherings and Mahafil e Meelad were organised by various religious institutions and mourning organisations in Rawalpindi and surrounding areas.

Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi spokesman for TNFJ, while addressing a gathering organised by Haiyat e Talba e Islamia at Ali Hall Rawalpindi, said that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with his generous and pious character changed the humanity, because he was the bearer of divine message and protector of humanity and mankind.

Syed Qamar Zaidi made it clear that the holy Quran was initiated with the verse “Read in the Name of Allah, Who, through pen (divine) educated you”.  He said that, that day was 27th of Rajab ul Murajjab which was declared as Youm e Baisat and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) through his pious teachings and preaching guided the humanity to the right path.

Qamar Zaidi said that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was sent in a time of disparity and ignorance to guide the humanity for there had been no messenger of Allah for a long time.  People were no longer doing good deeds, innocents were being killed, and ignorance and oppression were the order of the day.

TNFJ Spokesman stressed that the 63 years of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) are evident that He promoted truthfulness and justice and condemned oppression. He said that the history shows that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) never oppressed anyone and showed the whole world that he was a Prophet of peace, justice and truce.

Syed Qamar Zaidi said that even after fourteen centuries Islam is growing day by day and Islamic teachings are being appreciated by everyone and that is the reason that satanic forces fear Islam and are trying to desecrate the holy shrines and the holy book of Quran.  Muslims of Kashmir and Palestine are leading a life of disparity, Afghanistan and Iraq are warzones, and Pakistan is being persecuted for being the only Muslim Nuclear power and Islamic ideology.

He said that the rulers of Islamic world are impressed by the west and that is the reason for the issues and problems in Islamic world.  Pakistan is subjected to terrorism for a long time in order to achieve the goals of the colonial powers.  He said that in such times it is imperative for Muslim nation to unite and openly condemn the satanic forces.  He said that Muslim rulers should depend and expect from Allah only because those who expect from Allah, Allah delivers to them.  He expressed his firm belief that no satanic force can harm Islam.

On this occasion a resolution was adopted, stressing the ruling and opposition parties of Pakistan to practically condemn the banned terrorist groups because according to Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosvi terrorists have no religion or nationality they are simply terrorists and should be dealt the same way and there are no sectarian issues in Pakistan rather it’s the conspiracy of colonial powers, who with the help of their agents are fighting for their personal interests in Pakistan.

Another resolution demanded the government to give the right of heading all Islamic institutions, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Roiyat e Hilal Committee, Islamic Ideology Council etc., to all renowned Islamic schools of thought in order to create an atmosphere of peace, trust and unity.

Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri, Syed John Ali Mashhadi, Mustansar Naqvi, Mohsin Bilali and Shahzad Hussain Sandi also addressed the gathering.
