ISLAMABAD, January 14: In order to offer tributes to the sacrifice of Mohsin-e-Insaniyat Hazrat Imam Hussain (pbuh) and his loyal companions, a Majlis-e-Aza was held at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtaran-e-Islam, Ummul Banin WF, Girls Guide and Sakina Generation. While addressing to the Majlis e Aza, the speaker Mohtarma Tehsin Kubra said that Imam Hussain (pbuh) sacrificed his life to protect religion of Mohammad (pbuh & hhp) and to give new lease of life to dying humanity. Imam-e-Aali Maqam offered unmatchable sacrifice to save humanity from the clutches of ruthlessness and barbarism. She said that Islam teaches respect for everyone and is a messenger of peace and harmony, as it has never advocated aggression and always guides to adopt defensive strategy. In her address, Tehseen Kubra said that messengers of truth have always raised their voice against oppression and brutality even on the top of spear as a result of which, Azadari continues till date. She said that Azadari is a peaceful protest of the civilized humanity against the cruelty and oppression. She stressed upon the fact that whenever Yazeediyat raised its head, it was valiantly confronted by Hussainiyat. On this occasion, Hashmi's daughters recited the elegiac poetry to offer tributes in the courts of Risalat-o-Imamat. At the end of Majlis Noha Khani and Matamdari was performed. |
