RAWALPINDI, February 28: The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, whilst addressing the members of the Alamgeer Ayyam ul Huzn Committee, said that the uncle of the Holy Prophet, father of Hazrat Ali (pbuh), chief of Mecca, and custodian of the Kaaba Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) was a helper and protector of the Prophet of Allah. While following his pious character difficulties, problems and challenges faced by humanity and the Muslim world can be confronted firmly.

Aqae Mousavi said that Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) was a great supporter of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) whose love of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) can be evaluated from the fact that the year Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) died, the Holy Prophet declared it a year of sorrow (Aam ul Huzn) which proves that mourning for Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) is a tradition of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp). Therefore, in line with following the pious character of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp), while observing Alamgeer Ayyam ul Huzn from 28^th February to 4^th March in connection with the death anniversary of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh), prayers will be conducted to show solidarity with the oppressed world, for the stability of our beloved Pakistan, for the elevation of the Islamic world and to save humanity from the clutches of the terrorism, 

He said that the whole family of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh), his nephew Holy Prophet Mohammad (pbuh & hhp) and his sons, Hazrat Talib, Hazrat Aqeel, Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Jaffar (pbut) not only carried on helping and supporting the oppressed of their time, they also left a message to the rest of the world; be an enemy of the oppressor and a friend of oppressed regardless of their nationality or background. He said that every one must respect such a great personalities and the message they left for all to follow.

Aqae Mousavi said that it’s a pity that the evil of the world continue to insult the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp)and in order to stop this aggression, the pious character of Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) must be adopted.

Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi emphasised on rulers that it is a wake up call for them because if they can not defend their ideology then how will they defend their country? The Muslim world must therefore draw the UN’s and ICC’s attention towards this matter that an insult against any religion, its personalities and its holy places should be declared a crime, and a law should be made that those who commit this crime must be given the strictest of punishments so that it became an example for others.

On this occasion convenor of Ayyam ul Huzn Committee, M H Jaffrey, while addressing the meeting, said that on Tuesday throughout Pakistan and the rest of the World the programmes of Ayyam ul Huzn will start with the recitation of the Holy Quran in the mosques after Fajr Prayer and majalis and matamdari will be performed in Imam Bargahs and Aza Khanaz. In this connection, committees of Ayyam ul Huzn will be supervising the programmes throughout the country. He demanded from the Govt to take special measures in order to improve the situation of law and order and stated that the media should give proper coverage to the programmes of Ayyam ul Huzn
