RAWALPINDI, February 27: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said those who commit blasphemy could be stopped and every conspiracy and mischief against Islam, Mashaheer-e-Islam and Shariat could be thwarted through practical following of courage and seerat of Abu Talib (A.S.). This was stated by him while announcing to observe “Universal Ayyam Al-Huzn” from February 28 to March 4 in connection with the Wafat of Murabbi-o-Nigehban of Nabuwwat and Risalat, Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.).

In a statement issued from the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih, Agha Moosavi said that observing the grief of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) is Sunnat-e-Rasool (SAAW). He said the history stands witness that Kuffar-e-Makkah could not hurt the Rasool (SAAW) during Abu Talib’s (A.S.) life despite their all-out efforts. He said today the satanic world has made its habit to commit blasphemy while colonial powers were posing a challenge to the whole Muslim World including Pakistan, on the other, by imposing sanctions and threats on them. He said the Muslim rulers should learn a lesson from the past and should ensure fulfilment of basic rights of the people as they would have to be ready to face all types of situations otherwise. He made it clear that the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) is the Mohsin-e-Insaniyyat but those holy personalities who provided protection of the Rasool (SAAW) and bore all types of problems and difficulties in doing so. This deed of theirs could not be forgotten and would remain a part of history.

Agha Moosavi said there is a saying of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) that goes: “It is my faith that the religion of Muhammad (SAAW) is better than all other religions, by God, even if all atheist forces unite, they could not cause any harm to you (Oh, Muhammad) till Abu Talib is alive.” That is why Allah termed the Abu Talib’s protection as His protection. “Oh, Rasool, Allah found you orphan. Thus He provided you protection.” Protection is being given by Abu Talib (A.S.) but Allah is saying that He is providing the protection. It speaks of the greatness, sanctity and mirage of Abu Talib’s (A.S.) faith. The Rasool (SAAW) was grieved on the Wafat of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) to the extent that he declared the year of his Wafat as ‘Aam Al-Huzn’ i.e. the year of mourning that declares that observing the grief of is Sunnat-e-Nabavi. He said the Rasool (A.S.) had to migrate from Makkah after the Wafat of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.).

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi appealed the countrymen to pay condolences to Rasool (SAAW), Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) and pious Sahaba Kubaar by organising Majalis-e-Aza and condolence meetings during the Ayyam Al-Huzn. By deriving commitment and courage from Shoeb-e-Abi Talib, we should announce our commitment to follow the seerat of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) and face every restriction with courage and not allow anyone to cause any harm to the dignity of Risalat come what may, he added.

Meanwhile, a TNFJ committee has been formed to organise the programmes of Universal Ayyam Al-Huzn. M.H. Jafri has been nominated as Convener, Malik-e-Ashtar as Secretary, and Prof. Ghulam Abbas Haideri as Deputy Secretary of this committee.
