RAWALPINDI, February 7: The concluding mourning programmes of majalis and matami processions in connection with “Hafta e Ehad O Peyman” to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al Askari (pbuh) and martyrs of Karbala (pbut) as announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, have started throughout the country and will continue until 8^th of Rabi ul Awwal.

In the twin city of Rawalpindi and Islamabad majalis were organized under the auspices of different religious organisations and institutions. Ulema O Zakireen and Khutba O Waizeen while addressing majalis highlighted the values of Azadari of Imam Hussain (pbuh) and the pious characters of Imam Hassan al Askari (pbuh) which provides solutions to the problems and difficulties faced by the people and guarantee their success in this world and hereafter  

A majlis was organized by Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, Ummul baneen WF, Sakina Generation and Girl guides at Imam Bargah Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. Khateeba Ale Nabi Mohtarma Syeda Bint e Ali Mousavi while addressing the majlis on the Subject of renowned tradition “Hussain o mini wa ana minal Hussain i.e. Hussain is from me and I am from Hussain(pbuh)” said that the Love for Hussain (pbuh) is the practical proof of one’s love towards Hazrat e Mohammad (pbuh & hhp). She said that Muslim Nations can achieve success in this world and the hereafter by forging their thoughts and deed into the above said tradition and can also get rid of their problems and difficulties while following the path of truth.

She said by adopting Hussainiat we can defeat Yazids of our time, colonial powers, and their stooges as well as their conspiracies and oppression. She said that the grandson of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) defeated the Yazidi conspiracies of defaming the sanctity of the religion of Mohammad (pbuh) by sacrificing his life on the scorching desert of Karbala. She said that Imam Hussain (pbuh) saved Islam from the dictatorship and monarchy and erected a defensive circle around Islam by offering his life which will defend eternally the religion of Allah.   

Moulana Waqar Hussain Naqvi Al Qumi while addressing majlis at Ali Hall Rawalpindi said that the 11^th Successor from the Holy Progeny of Mohammad (pbuh & hhp), Hazrat e Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh) confronted the worst tyrants of his era with great courage and bravery and disseminated the message of righteousness while rejecting tyranny. He said that today, the flag of Islam is flying high due to the untiring efforts and sacrifices made by the pious family of the Holy Prophet (pbut). He said that one can judge the importance of fulfilling one’s promises in Islam is by the fact that if one does not keep his promises then he has no religion. 

He said it is our duty to keep the promise to commemorate the days of the personalities of Islam who passed the religion to coming generations and sacrificed everything for the survival and supremacy of the religion. A resolution was adopted which reiterated the stance that till 8^th of Rabiul Awwal, the end of mourning period, and during the programmes of Eid Milaad un Nabi, both Sunni and Shia brethren, while showing practical unity will defeat the conspiracies of the enemies of the religion and the motherland. The resolution also demanded from the government to arrange maximum security during these programmes.
