RAWALPINDI, December 25: In accordance with the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi, the mourning assemblies and programs of Matamdari, in connection with Ashra e Shaheeda e Zindan to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH), were observed on Saturday with full religious zeal and respect. Ulema and Zakireen highlighted the pious character of Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) and declared her courage and determination as light of guidance for the daughters of Millat e Islamia.

A mourning assembly was held at Shoabe Abi Talib (PBUH) under the auspice of Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam in connection with Ashra e Shaheeda e Zindan which was addressed by Umdatul Hafaz Syeda Binte Musa Moosavi. In her address, she said that amongst the most pious and dignified ladies of the household of the Holy Prophet (PBUT) the pious character of Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) is like a shining star, who faced oppression and torments from the army of Yazid with such bravery and courage that falsehood confronted a crushing defeat on all fronts.

Under the auspice of Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam, Sakina Generation and Girls Guide a mourning assembly was held at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Karachi Company Islamabad, and was addressed by Khatiba Aale Yaseen Prof. Tahseen Kubra. She said that if the world really comes to know the torments and hardships encountered by Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) on Ashura and during the journey of captives from Karbala to Kufa and Kufa to Sham, every day would be observed as Ashura and every land would turn to the land of Karbala. She said that Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) tolerated all the hardships of imprisonment, fully supported the other captives of Karbala and never uttered even a single word of complaint. She said that every Messenger (PBUT) and every Prophet (PBUT) faced difficulties in the deliverance of the divine message but never changed the course of their mission. She said that the pious characters of the children of the family of Muhammad (PBUT) is the best example of passion for our young generation to sacrifice in the way of Allah. On this occasion Syeda Shehr Bano Naqvi recited the Hadith e Kisa, Muhtarma Saima Naqvi recited Marsia while Syeda Salma Naqvi conducted the assembly.

While addressing to a mourning assembly arranged under the auspice of Syed Asim Hussain Shah at Sawan, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) is a pious young personality whose grandfather Hazrat Ali Ibn Abu Talib (PBUH) is the master of the universe.  She (PBUH) presented such sacrifices in the way of Allah and for the protection of Sharia of Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) which are matchless in the entire course of history. He said that when, on the Shaam e Gharebaan, Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain narrated the atrocities committed by Yazidi’s on Ashura to her grandfather Ali Ibn Abi Talib (PBUH) with such a grief, it shook the whole universe. Allama Nasir Abbas of Multan, Zakir Karam Hussain Shah Hakimaal and other Ulema also addressed the assembly. Subsequently, procession of Zuljinah was taken out. Assembly was concluded with Matamdari and Zanjeer Zani. During the assembly participants unanimously approved a resolution presented by Syed Irfan Hussain Shah Naqvi in which attacks on the procession of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) in Karachi and firing on the participants of Youm e Hussain in Punjab University Lahore were highly condemned. It was demanded from the government to arrest the criminals involved in these incidents as soon as possible and give them exemplary punishments.  In the resolution, the siege of the houses of the mourners of Imam Hussain in Gulberg Lahore was also criticized and was demanded from the rulers to take concrete measures to provide protection to the citizens. In the resolution, while condemning the bombing in the capital city of Syria, Damishq and in Iraq, it was said that the agents of the colonial powers are involved in these condemning incidents. In another resolution, to end the domination of a specific school of thought in the Islamic Ideological Council, Roiyat Hilal Committee and other principal departments of the government, it was demanded that all the schools of thought especially the Maktab e Tasheyo should be given equal chance to head these institutions.
