The captivity faced by Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) for the elevation of the values of Islam overwhelmed the historians

Media should highlight the pious character of the heroes of Islam so that it can be used against anti-Islamic propaganda and to defend the heroes of Islam; the family of Muhammad (PBUT) and their companions embraced martyrdom in the plains of Karbala for the preservation of Islam - addresses of Ulema and Zakireen to the mourning assemblies on the beginning of Ashra e Shaheeda e Zindan

RAWALPINDI, December 24: In connection with the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi, Ashra e Shaheeda e Zindan to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of young captive of Karbala, Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH), started on Friday. On this occasion the mourning assemblies were held in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi in which Ulema and Zakireen highlighted the pious character of Hazrat Sakina bintal Hussain (PBUH) in their addresses.

While addressing to a mourning assembly arranged by Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam Pakistan (Reg.) at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad, Muhtarma Khanam Fatima Gohar said that the captivity faced by Hazrat Sakina bintal Hussain (PBUH) for the elevation of the values of Islam overwhelmed the historians. She said that the history of the world is full of revolutionary movements but the courage and determination which was demonstrated by Hazrat Sakina Bintal Hussain (PBUH) after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH) is unique and matchless in the entire history.

Under the auspices of Col. Mudassir, Masoom Asghar Naqvi and Syed Shujaat Zaidi a mourning assembly was held at Qadimi Imam Bargah Rawalpindi. While addressing to the assembly Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that by demonstrating patience and tolerance against all kinds of barbarities and oppressions, the family of Muhammad (PBUT) proved to the world that for the accomplishment of the pious objectives one should strive even if one has to sacrifice everything because only this can guarantee salvation. He said that not only the men of Karbala but also the womenfolk set such great examples that these are still a beacon of light for the whole of humanity. He said that each and every person of the family of Muhammad (PBUT) and their pious companions embraced martyrdom in the plains of Karbala for the preservation of Islam and for the elevation of Sharia of Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) a great deed for which Islam and humanity will always remain indebted to them. Every just man sees the events of Karbala as the judgment between right and wrong and of sacrificing everything in the path of Allah. He said that if women of today truly want their children to be the true followers of the right path then they will have to adopt the objectives of Hussainiat and will have to follow the pious character of the ladies of Karbala (PBUT). Only this will grant them success in this life and the life hereafter. Zakir Yasir Ghafar, Raees Abbas Rizvi and Hassan Raza Kayani also addressed to the assembly while Ibn e Hassan Rizvi recited the Marsia. Assembly concluded with Matamdari.

During the assembly, through a resolution it was appealed to the media that they should also highlight the pious character of the heroes of Islam so that it can be used against anti-Islamic propaganda and to defend the heroes of Islam. In another resolution the unexpected cuts of power and gas supply was highly criticized. Extreme anxiety was also expressed over the current state in which poor people are suffering so much because of electricity and Sui gas problems while the government and opposition are busy in their own tug of war. Politicians took everything for themselves but did not leave anything for Pakistan. In the resolution it was made clear that they should rectify their actions and that those in power should show mercy to the nation and the motherland before it was too late.
