The martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zain al Abideen (PBUH) was observed with great religious zeal and reverence

The pious character of Imam Sajjad (PBUH) is a guarantee of success and a beacon of light for the oppressed of the world – Address of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya to the concluding Majlis of Ashra e Beemar e Karbala 

RAWALPINDI, December 22: The International Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Syed-us-Sajideen Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) was observed throughout the country on Wednesday with religious spirit, devotion and respect. Majalis e Aza were held and Taboot processions were taken out on this occasion the world over. Agha Moosavi addressing the concluding Majlis of the International Ashra Beemar-e-Karbala at the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tasheyo said Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) bore the hardships of captivity and preached a lesson to the world to stand against Yazidi conspiracies. He said even today in order to meet the independence movements of the oppressed with success, the practical following of the pious character of Beemar-e-Karbala (PBUH) is the need of the hour. He said Imam Aali Muqaam Hussain Ibne Ali (PBUH) thwarted Yazid’s evil agenda by witnessing the Prophethood of 124,000 Anbia as a result of which the flag of Islam is flying high in every corner of the world. 

The TNFJ chief said that in the form of Azadari, Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) developed such an exemplary plan for the protection of the message of Imam Hussain (PBUH) that it is considered the complete practical example and a driving force of humanity even today. He said Azadari is the greatest protest that guarantees the success of the oppressed world; that is why he said dictators and oppressors in every era feared Azadari because it is the biggest weapon for tackling oppression and brutality and has been used in the most difficult time. He said that Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) despite being chained and cuffed delivered such heart-rending speeches in the streets of Kufa and Shaam, and in the court of Ibne Ziad and Yazid, that they became the source of destruction of Yazidiat and the eternal survival of Hussainiat. He said that the most important sign of a living nation is that it not only remembers its heroes but also highlights their good deeds. He said Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) fulfilled the most sensitive and difficult duties of leading from the front as well as, being an inheritor of the martyrs of Karbala, protecting the bereaved families of the martyrs of Karbala in a manner that no tyrant ruler or dictator could undermine the mission of Imam Hussain (PBUH).

Agha Moosavi said when someone tried to pass blasphemous remarks against the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) in the court of Ibne Ziad, Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH)  delivered an exemplary speech in the style of his grandfather Ali (PBUH) and devastated the whole court by introducing himself to them, he said: “One who knows me is aware of me and one who doesn’t know me, I would like to introduce myself that I am the son of Makkah and Mina, I am the son of Safa and Marva, I am the son of the person who is known to everybody, I am the son of the person who led angels in salaat twice during the Mirage, I am the son of Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH & HHP), Ali Al-Murtaza (PBUH) and Fatima Zehra (PBUH), and I am the son of Hussain (PBUH) who was denied water till martyrdom, members of whose household (PBUH) were detained, whose belonging were looted and the ladies of whose household had their hijabs snatched. But I don’t feel myself vulnerable and weak rather I am proud that my father preferred to lay down his life rather than bow down before a debauched liar.”

The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH), at the conclusion of his address, asked them: “In what type of sinful actions are you involved; what will you say in the court of Almighty Allah on the Day of Judgment? At the time when the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) will ask you why did you murder my offspring? And why have you tried to destroy my honour and dignity? Tell me, how will you face the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP)?” This type of courageous stance and determination can only be expected from Syed-us-Sajjad (PBUH), he added.
