RAWALPINDI, December 14: In accordance with the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to commemorate Ashra e Beemar e Karbala, Majalis e Aza were held in Rawalpindi and Islamabad similar to the other small and big cities of the country while the Taboot procession (coffins) were also brought out. In their addresses to the Majalis e Aza, Ulema and scholars termed the pious character of Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) as a beacon of light for the humanity. 

While addressing to the Majlis e Aza held under the auspices of Hayat Tulbae Islamia at Ali Hall, Moulana Shehzad Hussain Sundi said that the pious characters of the founders of Azadari Syeda Zainab (PBUH) and Syed Sajjad (PBUH) are the role models for the world of humanity and therefore, by acting upon their footsteps we can get rid of the aggression and oppression of the colonial powers. He said that by leading the prisoners of Karbala from Karbala to Kufa and then from Kufa to Syria, Hazrat Imam Zain ul Abideen (PBUH) set an example of maintaining patience in all kinds of hardships and made it clear that the fundamental lesson of Hussainiat is about sacrificing everything for the protection of Islam and sanctity of the human values. Moulana Mohsin Raza Bilali, Zaigham Abbas, and Ehtasham Abbas also addressed the Majlis e Aza. 

Another Majlis e Aza was held under the auspices of Anjuman Dukhtaran e Islam at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad. While addressing to the Majlis e Aza, Zakira Najea Najaf Turabi highlighted the Walayat e Ali (PBUH) in accordance with the holy Quran. She recited the famous sermon of the holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) at Ghadeer e Khoum where the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) had said, I am the Master of the faithful and those I have been the Master for, Ali (PBUH) is also their Master. Zakira Najea Najaf Turabi stressed that Walayat e Ali (PBUH) is the certificate of the completion of the religion and blessings and therefore, keeping a faith on it is mandatory for the acceptance of the prayers. She said that despite being enchained, the prisoners of Karbala delivered the messages of Walayat e Ali and Hussainiat with extraordinary courage and bravery and the sacred characters of the households of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) is the best source of guidance. She said that the best religion of the prophets of Almighty has been Islam which is the savior of the whole humanity as it preaches the lessons of love, respect, patience, forbearance and peace for the whole humanity. He said that Islam negates all kinds of discriminations, nepotism, and biasness.

On this occasion a resolution was also passed against the negative role of some of the channels and newspapers who are involved in fanning the flames of discrimination in the country and termed it as a poison for the nation. The resolution condemned the role of the “daily Jang” for maintaining discriminating policy against Maktab e Tasheyo and stated that Pakistan is a result of joint efforts of all the schools of thought however, the authorities of daily Jang have been unjust in their behavior while the miscreants in the daily are hurting its repute.  In another resolution, the ongoing terrorism and target killing in some parts of the country including Peshawar, Haripur and Quetta was also condemned strongly while the government was demanded to take strong actions against the banned organizations who are still operating using new names. The resolution also supported and encouraged the new policy of the government against colonial powers and stated that had this policy adopted sometime ago, the situation today would have been much better. The resolution clarified that the whole nation is united for the defense of Pakistan. On this occasion, the participants of the Majlis e Aza pledged to act in accordance with the code of Azadari issued by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to commemorate Ayyam e Aza till 8th of Rabi ul Awwal. Dr. Zahra Gull, and Dukhtaran e Naqvi also addressed the Majlis e Aza, while Zainab Alviya was the stage secretary of the Majlis e Aza.
