Government must refrain from spreading fear amongst Azadars. Azadars must perform Azadari and demonstrate harmony and solidarity - TNFJ

Government will be responsible for the consequences incase any kind of intervention is made in Azadari programs; Feelings of the whole Islamic Ummah have been hurt by scheduling the Cricket Match of Pakistan and Bangladesh on 10th Muharram ul Haram; The Match must be cancelled immediately; Some of the cable operators and channels are showing films and songs even on 9th Muharram which indicates a “no accountability situation”. PEMRA must take immediate action - Shujaat Ali Bukhari

ISLAMABAD, December 6: Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari the Convener of TNFJ’s Muharram Commttee Azadari Cell has appealed to the Azadars (mourners of Imam Hussain ASWS) to keep the programs of Azadari continued by demonstrating courage, peace and harmony without giving consideration to the fear and fright that is being spread by government and some other elements. While addressing to the Azadars during the mourning procession, at Azadari camp of Mukhtar Students Organization and Ibrahim Scouts he said that we are the followers of Muhammad o Aal e Muhammad ASWS who taught us to struggle for the protection of Aqeeda (ideology) even if the life is to be sacrificed. He demanded that the government and its administration must refrain from spreading fear as the memory of Karbala is not limited to the 10th Muharram rather it spans over more than two months and continues till 8th Rabi ul Awal therefore, all the licensed and traditional processions will be brought out with full religious spirit and fervor. Shujaat Bukhari said that although we are the followers of Syed e Sajjad ASWS however our patience must not be considered as our weakness as incase of creating any hindrance to the processions of Azadari, the government itself will be responsible for the consequences. We will not only approach the courts but may also contact international courts to get our rights delivered. He also appealed to the media that it must not demolish the religious values of Pakistani nation. He condemned the negative role of some of the channels and cable operators during Ayyam e Aza, which even on 9th Muharram ul Haram, are playing films and songs of neighboring countries. Are they free of any accountability? He expressed serious concerns on the scheduled cricket match of Pakistan and Bangladesh on the day of Ashur, 10th Muharram and termed it a violation of the emotions. He questioned that what kind of message is being given through such kind of steps? He demanded that this cricket match must be cancelled immediately. He vowed that Shian e Haider e Karrar will fully comply to the code of Azadari given by Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while performing azadari as they will demonstrate solidarity and unity for the sake of Azadari and Meelad processions. He further demanded that 11th Muharram must be announced as a holiday so that Azadar and Matamis could recover from the tardiness. Similarly, scheduled exams must also be postponed accordingly.
