Month of Ramadan provides an opportunity to gather the bounties and mercy of Almighty Allah – Allama Qamar Zaidi

RAWALPINDI, August 30: Spokesman of TNFJ Pakistan Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said that the holy month of Ramadan is a month of blessing and mercy; therefore everyone should act according to the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh & hhp) and abstain from doing what is forbidden.  He said that for this purpose instead of the politics of deception and personal likes and dislikes, the national interest should be kept in mind and tolerance and respect should be shown towards others.  This was stated by him while addressing a majlis e aza organized by Syed Asghar Sabzwari Advocate and barrister Qamar Sabzwari.

Allama Qamar Zaidi said that the month of Ramadan is the month of piety and worship and the biggest worship of all in this month is fasting as Almighty Allah has said that “fasting is for me, and I will repay for it”.  He said that the benefits of fasting are so many that if a person duly completes this month with respect, all his previous sins are forgiven; that is the reason that fasting is called a “shield” because the person fasting during the month of Ramadan tries to abstain from all sins and evil and, on the other hand, tries to do good.

Allama Zaidi said that the true Muslim greets the month of Ramadan by repenting, worshipping and doing good in order to please Almighty Allah and that the holy month of Ramadan gives us an opportunity to understand the true meaning of Islam. Ramadan gives us a chance to realize our mistakes and, with submissiveness, seek forgiveness from Almighty Allah so that we can be worthy of His pardon.  He said that the month of Ramadan is the month of revelation of the Quran e Samat and the month of martyrdom of Quran e Natiq. He said that if today humanity acts according to the teachings of the Holy Quran, the world can get rid of terrorism, killings and intolerance.  He said that it is imperative to follow the Holy Quran in order to make this world a better place for everyone.

He said that the master of the faithful Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (pbuh) kissed martyrdom while fulfilling his responsibility of elevating the religion of Almighty Allah and safeguarding the message of Monotheism and Prophethood. He said that on the day of Dawat e Zulashera Hazrat Ali bore witness to the Prophethood of the Holy prophet (pbuh & hhp) and on the day of Ghadeer e Khum the Holy prophet (pbuh & hhp) announced the Walayat of Imam Ali (pbuh)and thus completed the religion. He said that by following the teachings of Haider e Karar (pbuh), Marhab O Antar of every era can be defeated. Zakir Hassan Raza Keyani and Ibne Hassan Rizvi Brothers also addressed the majlis. On this occasion Iftari and Langar e Hussaini was arranged for the participants.
