No day goes by without an incident of terrorism; Attack on Chitral Scouts Saturday and firing incident on Quetta Express in Baluchistan is a continuation of conspiracy of our arch enemy; Armed forces and judiciary are last hope of the nation; on Eid ul Fitr decision of Roet e Halal should be unanimous and on time – Address of Shujaat Bukhari to the meeting of members of central cabinet

RAWALPINDI, August 29: An important meeting of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan and its central and subordinate bodies was held at the headquarters of the Maktab e Tasheyo. Additional Secretary General Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari presided over the meeting in which law and order situation of the country, Tehreek programmes and organisational matters were reviewed in detail. Shujaat Ali Bukhari said the month of Ramzan ul Mubarik the last Ashra of which is imbibed with the blessing of Nazool-e-Quran. He said 27th Ramzan ul Mubarik is also Youm-e-Pakistan Day according to moon cycle.

Shujaat Bukhari lamented that Pakistan had to confront with disasters and incidents of terrorism during this year also. Strongly condemning the attack of Chitral Scouts Saturday and firing incident on Quetta Express in Baluchistan, he said not a single day goes without any incident of terrorism. He said Karachi has been pushed into bloody war, target killings have become the order of the day, no city or a person is spared, everyone is grieved and raising the voice of concern but there is no one to look into it. He said no one puts his ear to the media, therefore, the judiciary and the armed forces are their last hope and they have to fulfil their responsibilities. He said differences on the sighting of moon for the month of Ramzan ul Mubarik were tragic, therefore, now the decision on the sighting of moon for Eid ul Fitr should be unanimous and the government should fulfil its responsibilities in this regard.

A resolution adopted on the occasion expressed grave concern on the aggravating law and order situation of the country and demanded from the government to take concrete steps to ensure law and order in the whole country in general and in Karachi in particular. He said security of the Eid congregations should be ensured. He called upon the people to display mutual unity and brotherhood on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr, remain alert themselves, keep an eye on the miscreants, and condemn biases at every level. The resolution made it clear that Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya and its subordinate bodies are ever ready for all types of practical cooperation in the larger interest of the nation and the country so as to thwart the internal and external conspiracies of the enemies of the religion and the motherland.

Another resolution said that like all recognised schools of thought made the Pakistan movement successful; similarly they should become a concrete wall for the integrity and solidarity of the motherland and prove that no power on earth could create differences amongst them. This country was created to remain and will remain while no one would be allowed to throw a bad eye on it.

The central office-bearers and chiefs of the subordinate bodies, conveners of International Youm Al-Quds Himayat-e-Mazloomin, Universal Youm-e-Inhidam Jannat-ul-Baqee committee, president of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and district president also participated in the meeting and presented their progress reports.
