FITRANA RS.200 PER HEAD FOR FIQH-E-JAFARIYA – Allama Syed Matloob Taqi People should not forget those who have nothing on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr RAWALPINDI, August 28: Allama Syed Matloob Hussain Taqi, Khateeb Central Jamia Masjid Darbar Aaliya Sakhi Shah Payara Kazmi Al-Mashaadi has fixed the Fitrana for Fiqh-e-Jafariya as Rs.200 per head. He made this announcement in the Juma tul Widah congregation at the Shia Jamia Masjid Darbar Aalia Sakhi Shah Piyara Kazmi and appealed the Ahle Islam to fulfil their responsibility by supporting the poor and have-nots on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr. Allama Taqi said that every wise, adult person who does not look towards anyone else for funding and is not a slave to anyone is binding to give one sa’ah i.e. about three kilograms of anything from wheat, barley, dates, raisins, rice, corn or any other variety used by the person himself and the members of his family as Fitra. He appealed all well off people not to forget the poor, have-nots, and poor sisters and brothers on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr. |
