The great victory of Islam in the historic battle of Badar changed the standard of power and control – Hamid Moosavi 

Continuous bloodshed in Karachi is a heinous conspiracy of our arch enemy, All are being punished because of being Pakistani; rulers should save Pakistan instead of their rule; All sections of the society will have to demonstrate unity and brotherhood to ensure elevation of the Islamic world and to strengthen Pakistan – Address of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya on the occasion of Youm e Furqan   

 RAWALPINDI, August 19: The Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the great victory of Islam in the first historic war between Islam and atheists changed the standard of power and control and the minimum number of warriors of Islam defeated the huge well-armed enemy whose pride they buried in the plains of Badar. This was stated by him while delivering his address at the special gathering of Youm e Furqan organized at the headquarters of Maktab e Tasheyo in connection with the great victory of Battle of Badar here on Thursday. 

Agha Moosavi made it clear that Islam is a universal religion that preaches peace and tranquility, condemns all types of bias, and considers aggression as oppression on which the life of the Holy prophet (pbuh & hhp) stands witness. All types of aggression were carried out against him and every violent act was tried on him; a saying of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) goes: The violence carried on me was not carried out against any prophet before me. He said no enemy, how big he may be, could cause any harm to the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) in the presence of the supporter of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) and benefactor of the religion and Sharia Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh). But when both these personalities passed away, the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) declared the year of their departure as “Aam Al-Huzn” the year of mourning. Then the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) had to migrate from Makah Mukarramah to Madina Munawwarah which encouraged atheists who set out to attack Madina Munawwarah after the second year of the migration. 

The TNFJ chief said that the first war between Muslims and atheists took place at Badar in which the total number of those included in the army of Islam was 313 and from amongst them only two soldiers Miqdad and Mursad had horses and only six carried armour. Hazrat Ali Ibn e Abi Talib (pbuh) was the flag bearer of the soldiers of Islam in the battle of Badar. On the other side, the number of atheist soldiers was many times higher than Muslims amongst which about a hundred had horses while the whole army was fully armed. Almighty Allah gave victory to Muslims despite their low number and inflicted total defeat on atheists. Abu Jehal who was leading the army of atheist was killed along with 70 atheists while 14 warriors belonging to the army of Islam kissed martyrdom. He said the credit of Islam’s victory in the first war between right and the evil went to Ali Ibn e Abi Talib (pbuh) therefore 17^th Ramzan al Mubarik enjoys historic moment. Allah also declared this war between Islam and atheists as Youm-e-Furqan, he added. 

Agha Moosavi lamented that at present the Muslim nation comprises 57 countries and, despite having so much mineral wealth, is visibly vulnerable. He said the hearts of the richest rulers have no conscience, there are organizations like Arab League and OIC but they are helpless before the international colonial powers the basic reason for which is lack of unity, consensus, and brotherhood. Governments of many of these Muslim States enjoy the support of international colonial powers which has made all international organizations their hostage. He lamented that Muslims could not achieve independence in Palestine and Kashmir neither could they drive out allied forces from Afghanistan and Iraq. The motherland was particularly on the colonial target at present and is being punished for following the ideology of Islam and being an atomic power. Drone attacks, suicide blasts, incidents of murder, arson and target killings have become the order of the day. 

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said we would have to ensure the honour, dignity and solidarity of the motherland by strengthening it through mutual unity, and brotherhood.  By keeping alive the spirit of the Battle of Badar we can prove to the atheist forces that no power on earth can create a rift amongst us.
