Drone attacks and incidents of terrorism in the month of Ramadan are highly condemnable - Tanzeem Shia Aima Masajid

It is essential to acquire the vision of Quranic teachings – Address of Allama Hussain Kazmi, Matloob Taqi, Mohsin Hamdani and others to the Friday congregation

ISLAMABAD, August 13: On behalf of Tanzeem Shia Aima Masjid, during the sermons of the second Friday of Ramzan, Ulema and Khutaba highly condemned the deploring incidents of terrorism in Peshawar, target killing in Karachi and American drone attacks in border area of Pakistan

While addressing to a congregation at AL-Kazim, the chairman of the organization Hujatul Islam Syed Hussain Kazmi reminded those present that the world of humanity is in the grip of problems and terrorism. International imperialistic powers are targeting oppressed nations and the Muslim world under the cover of terrorism. Therefore instead of adopting apologetic approach it becomes essential to give a bold reply.

While addressing to the Friday congregation at Jamia Masjid Sakhi Shah Payara Al-Kazmi Choar Harpal, Allama Syed Matloob Hussain Taqi highlighted the virtues of the month of Ramzan and said that fasting gives practical lessons of patience, tolerance and self-accountability. It also provides the best opportunity to understand Quranic teachings. He said that Pakistan is a gift from Allah and the benefaction of Panjtan Pak. Allama Taqi said that month of Ramzan is a source of earning virtues, seeking forgiveness for sins and of accountability of thoughts and actions.

He said that the benefits of Ramzan are so many that those observing fast with full devotion and faith who complete their religious obligations during this month will be forgiven for their previous sins. It is a major reason for which fasting has been declared as a shield, because the observer tries especially not to disobey Almighty Allah during the month of Ramzan and fully exerts all of his energies to earn virtues and blessings.

While addressing to the Friday congregation at Qasr e Abu Talib Allama Mohsin Ali Hamdani thanked all schools of thoughts for observing “The Universal Day of Grief” in connection with the death anniversary of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) with unity and brotherhood. He said that the silence of media on the death anniversary of the benefactor of Islam is quite deploring.

Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari, in the echo of slogans, presented a resolution, which was approved by the congregation, which stated that the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) have given the oppressed a right to raise their voices in protest.

Those present were reminded that currently the media is fully independent in our beloved homeland Pakistan, so much so that it is telecasting western culture without any censure in a country which came into being in the name of Islam. It is therefore the responsibility of the rulers to stop them going against the ideology of Pakistan.

It was also mentioned in the resolution that the editor of Daily Jang Rawalpindi, Hanif Khalid, and news editor Ashraf Baig have adopted a hostile attitude towards the press releases of the representative organization of the Shia school of thought, the Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqh e Jafariya Pakistan. Important news of the TNFJ is either ignored completely or published on the inside pages in a watered down form which is not only injustice but also an insult to Millat e Jafariya. The news of the Majalis and their announcements are not published in the Daily Jang which is condemned by the whole of Millat e Jafariya. The owners and the newspaper organizations protest against the oppression against them but if they observe their actions, the injustice which they are doing to others through their newspaper should also be recompensed.

In the resolution it was also demanded from the Jang Group editor in chief Mir Khalil al Rehman that he should immediately remove all those who are working for some particular lobbies and should clarify policy in regards to giving coverage to all the schools of thought. If Jang Group holds a policy of pushing Shia school of thought into one corner then this should also be clarified so that we may also request to our Markaz to issue a line of action against Jang Rawalpindi.

In another resolution full trust and determination was expressed to the perceptive and visionary leadership of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and it was pledged that all followers of Haider e Karar will always be ready to present sacrifices on any call of their pious leadership. Allama Guftar Sadiqi at Jamia Masjid Jafariya I-9 and Allama Hussain Muqadasi at Masjid e Ahle Bait at Wah Cantt also addressed the Friday congregations.
