The death anniversary of the first lady of Islam Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) was observed with great religious zeal and enthusiasm 

Those who are afraid of the grandeur of Islam are trying to prove Muslims to be fundamentalists; the great character of the pious personalities of Islam has to be highlighted in order to save young generations from going astray 

The Almighty Allah made the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) rich with the wealth of Hazrat Khadija (pbuh); In the Business community she was a well-known personality – Address of the Quaid Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi 

RAWALPINDI, August 12: The death anniversary of the first lady of Islam, the mother of the faithful Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) was observed as Universal Youm Al-Huzn throughout the country with religious spirit, devotion and respect. Majalis e Aza were organized and the coffin replica of supporter of Islam Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) were taken out in women’s Majalis in Imam Bargahs and Aza Khanaz. The Quaid e Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while addressing a main Majlis of Universal Youm Al-Huzn at the headquarters of the Maktab e Tasheyo said that the atheist world is using every tactic to defame Muslims and Islam. The desecration of the personalities of Islam is going on so much so that the feelings of Muslims are being challenged by publishing images and cartoons of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp). Elements afraid of Islam’s universal status are set out to prove Islam a short-sighted religion. In this situation, Muslim governments, Islamic institutions and the media of the Muslim States are under the obligation to highlight the great character of the pious personalities of Islam to the maximum possible so as to save their generations from become ignorant rather to check the fake propaganda of the satanic powers, he added.

Agha Moosavi said that the historians kept a similar biased attitude viz. the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp), his pious companions and the holy progeny (pbut) so as not to highlight these holy personalities. One of those personalities is the mother of the faithful Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) the greatness of whom has been made clear by the Holy Quran itself: “And you were not made rich after finding you poor”. Richness means you have been made aloof of everyone but your Allah, and then said: And (Oh, Rasool!) keep on stating the blessings of your Allah. Agha Moosavi explained to those present there that it means keep on stating whatever blessings have been bestowed on you by Allah, Who made arrangements of your support and patronage and blessed you with contentment and richness with the feelings of thanks-giving. It indicates that Allah likes talking about His blessings. Agha Moosavi said that who is not aware that after Abdul Muttalib (pbuh), it was Abu Talib (pbuh) who was bestowed with the honour of patronage and support of Khatam-ul-Mursaleen Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (pbuh & hhp) and Allah bestowed richness on the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) courtesy to the wealth of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh). That is why according to Tafseer Kashaf and Tafseer Baizavi, a saying of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) goes that many Kamil Al-Iman were there amongst men but amongst women, there were none else but four women who were bestowed with this honour and they are: Aasia Bint e Mazahim who was wife of Pharaoh, Maryam who was mother of Eisa, Khadija Bint e Khawailid, and Fatima Bint e Muhammad (pbut).

The lineage of Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) was as: Khadija Binte Khawailid Bin Assad Bin Abdul Azee Bin Qasi Bin Kalab Bin Ka’ab Bin Lawi Bin Ghalib Bin Fahr. After reaching Qasi Bin Kalab, the chain of Hazrat Khadija attaches with the lineage of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp). Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) was the first woman who announced her faith in the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and who was the first to offer prayers with the Holy Prophet (Mustadrak Al-Wasail). Before solemnizing Nikah with the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) was Maleeka-tul-Arab. Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) was exemplary in her wealth and honour. It was the era when transportation resources were very limited but the trade of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) was spread to other countries also in addition to the whole Arab World. In other words, Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) enjoyed a high status in trade internationally. When the Arab World was confronted with ignorance all around, Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) was placed at the high pedestal of knowledge and awareness. Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) was brought up in the family that was laced with the holy Books and Godly knowledge. Warqa Bin Nofil like renowned scholar was a member of her family whose renowned knowledge was well known to even too far off places. Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) used to participate in knowledgeable discussions and in other words she was placed at the pedestal of knowledge, honour and dignity. That is why there was no parallel to her in that era.

The TNFJ chief said that when the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) decided to set for a trade journey, Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) who already knew that Muhammad (pbuh & hhp) is a trust-worthy and good moral person sent for the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) asking him to take her trade goods to Syria. The Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) accepted that offer and took her trade goods to Syria along with the slave Maisarah, sold out the trade material and returned to Makah after shopping. This journey provided immense profit to Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) and Maisarah told her about the charismatic handling of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) during the trade journey. Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) was highly impressed by the great character and high status of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) who sent a message to the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) that Oh Ibn e Umm, I wish to become your life partner owing to your dignity, trustworthiness, truthfulness, and high moral character. The Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) narrated this to his uncle Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh).

Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh), therefore, went to Hazrat Khadija’s (pbuh) uncle Omer Bin Assad and according to another statement to the residence of Khawailid Bin Assad. Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) began talking in this way. All praise for Allah who declared us from the generation of Ibrahim (pbuh) and Ismail (pbuh) and gave us a chance to reside in the neighbourhood of Ka’aba and let us stay in His Harm-e-Aqdas, honoured us with elderliness and respect and turned this holy earth into a source of blessing for us. The objective of my coming here is that my nephew enjoys supremacy over all Quraish viz. honour and respect and desires for Khadija (pbuh) while Khadija (pbuh) also desires the same. Whatever the Mehr will be, I shall pay it from my wealth. He enjoys honour with Allah and his future is very bright (in other words, the coming time was crystal clear on Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) and what big any other argument could be on the faith of Abu Talib (pbuh). Abu Talib (pbuh) recited the Khutba-e-Nikah and the rites of Nikah were observed. 20 camels were given as Mehr. Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) became the partner of the Prophethood from that day. She is the first wife of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) who did not solemnize any other Nikah during her life like his successor Ali Ibn e Abi Talib (pbuh) who did not do so in the presence of the daughter of Khadija Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh). From Khadija were born Hazrat Fatima, Qasim and Abdullah (pbut). While influential Atheists of Makah teased and violated the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp), at home the kind and faithful wife used to share his grief and advise him to follow patience, forbearance, and firmness.

The TNFJ chief said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) has confirmed immense wealth of Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) and her being the Maleeka-tul-Arab. Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) was so rich that no one in the Arab World could reach her status. Is there anyone else who may have given all his/her wealth, cattle heads, slaves, dirhams, dinars, and all slave girls in the ownership of Islam and given all right to utilize the same to the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) that he may spend it wherever and in whatever way he likes. 

Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) never asked for anything, neither she quarrelled nor gave up talking with the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) rather did whatever he desired. That is why the Holy Quran stated that we found you poor and made you rich. Imam Fakharuddin Razi writes in his Tafseer that Allah made the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) rich with Khadija’s (pbuh) wealth. One day the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) came to Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) and he was very grieved and upset. Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) asked the reason of his being grieved. He said it is time of famine, if I spend your wealth I get ashamed of you and if do not then people will die from famine. Listening to this, Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) asked the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) to summon all Quraish. When they reached in which Hazrat Abu Bakr was also included. Siddiq states that Khadija (pbuh) piled up all her wealth on front of her and said, Oh people, remain witness that this all wealth is now that of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp). He has full authority to use it whatever he likes or otherwise (Tafseer-e-Kabeer, edition 8, printed in Egypt).

The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that had Khadija (pbuh) not given her wealth then Muslims may have died of starvation. He said, on the occasion of Universal Youm Al-Huzn, the followers of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and Sadaat the world over, demand from the Aal-e-Saud to restore the dignity of the holy shrines in Hajoon Al-Jannat where supporter of the religion and Sharia helper of the Prophethood and the mother of the faithful Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) and the forefathers of the Rasool (pbuh & hhp) are buried, and the Jannat ul Baqee that carries the shrines of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh), the pious companions and the holy progeny of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) so that the atheist world could also be stopped from desecrating the Holy Prophet and pious personalities of Islam, Bait Al-Harm and Bait Al-Maqadas. He said, we announce our commitment not to deter from offering any sacrifice for the protection and supremacy of the religion and Sharia, unity and brotherhood of the Islamic World, solidarity with the motherland Pakistan, rooting out terrorism, and the great objectives of human welfare by following in the footsteps of Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh). We would not accept any oppression, brutality and hindrance by following the path of righteousness. It is our faith that the day will definitely come when the son of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) Imam Mehdi (pbuh) will come in this world and will spread the message of Muhammad (pbuh & hhp) to the whole universe and would thwart the propaganda and fake history of the atheist forces.
