Today the death anniversary of the mother of the faithful Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) will be observed as Aalamgheer Youm al Huzn The government should take extra measurements to ensure law and order in the country; the pious character of the helper of Islam is a beacon of light – Dr S Zaman RAWALPINDI, August 11: In accordance with the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the death anniversary of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh), the mother of Fatima Zahra (pbuh) will be observed as Youm al Huzn throughout Pakistan as well as worldwide. On this occasion the day will start with the recitation of the Holy Quran after Fajar prayer in the mosques of the federal capital Islamabad, Rawalpindi and all other parts of the country. Ulmae Karam, Waezeen and Zakreen while addressing to the Majalis and other religious gathering will highlight the pious character of the mother of the faithful Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra and the sacrifices made by her for the propagation of Islam. The secretary of the TNFJ’s committee of Youm al Huzn Dr S Zaman appealed to the followers of all schools of thought to participate in the programs of Youm al Huzn. He demanded from the government to take special security measures to ensure law and order situation in the country and that electronic media should provide coverage to the programs of Youm al Huzn. Dr S Zaman while addressing to the meeting said that Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) increased the dignity of Islam by helping the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) in his task of Prophethood with her wealth and her life. The dignity of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) can be gauged from the fact that she is the mother of the lady of Heaven Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh) and her grandsons are the leaders of the young of heaven. He said that Hazrat Khadija (pbuh), despite being the wealthiest person of her time, happily accepted hunger and wore patched up clothes in Shoabe e Abi Talib (pbuh) when the Quraish of Makah excluded the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp). She was an intelligent adviser and helper of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) and when people left the Holy Prophet due to the announcement of the Prophethood she was his consoler. When the people of Makah were causing harm to the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) she helped him with her wealth and comforted him. He said that this pious personality taught a practical lesson of sacrifice to the rest of the world by sacrificing her wealth on the way of Islam. |
