Due to the vast wealth of the mother of the faithful Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh), Islam gained strength – Hamid Moosavi

Allah Has declared Hazrat Khadija’s (pbuh) deed as His own – The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya announces ‘Universal Youm ul-Huzn’ on Ramadan 10

RAWALPINDI, August 7: The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that amongst the womenfolk, the mother of the faithful Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) is such a personality that owing to her strong faith, pious character and her vast wealth Islam was promoted and gained strength.

This was stated by him while announcing to observe “Universal Youm ul-Huzn” on 10th Ramzan-ul-Mubarik in connection with the death anniversary of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh). Agha Moosavi reminded everyone that piety has been considered a standard of dignity and high status in Islam. He said that Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) keeps a central position in the history of womankind. Even before the dawn of Islam she was on such a high status of dignity and honour that she was called Tahira (purified) and Syeda tul Quraish which is a proof that Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) was on the pedestal of high status and purity before becoming the wife of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp). He continued that she chose the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) as her only life partner; such was her personality that her daughter Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh) was called the leader of women of both Worlds. The Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) recognised the services of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) towards Islam in these words, “Khadija (pbuh) helped me with her wealth in a time when people deprived me from it ……Khadija (pbuh) was the wealthiest person in her time who gave up her wealth for the propagation of Islam.”

Agha Moosavi emphasized on a fact that the Holy Quran has mentioned the help of the mother of the faithful Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) towards Islam in these words, “We found you poor and made you rich”. He said that Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) while giving up her vast wealth for Islam proved that she loved Islam, the Holy Prophet of Islam and Muslims. Agha Moosavi said that Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) was a pious personality whose actions were considered by Almighty Allah as His own, due to which whenever the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) used to go out he praised the actions of Hazrat Khadija (pbuh).

The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the tenth year of the Baisat (declaration of Prophethood) proved to be a year of grief for the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp), first the helper of Islam Hazrat Abu Talib (pbuh) left this world then Mohsina e Islam Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) departed. The Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) was so grief stricken that he declared the year Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh) passed away as “the year of grief”.

Aqae Moosavi appealed to the countrymen to observe the death anniversary of the mother of the faithful on 10^th of Ramadan as Youm al Huzn in order to pay condolences to the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hhp) on the anniversary of the sad demise of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (pbuh). He said that while following the footsteps of Hazrat Khadija (pbuh) all should strive for the elevation of Islam, solidarity and prosperity of the motherland Pakistan and for an end to terrorism. Special prayers should also be made to Almighty Allah for help in this regard.

Meanwhile a committee has been formed for the arrangements of programmes in connection with Universal Day of Mourning. Allama Basharat Hussain Imami was nominated as convener while Dr S Zaman will be the Secretary of this Committee.
