On the call of TNFJ countrywide Youm e Tarheem was observed; Protest Rallies were held against terrorism

Mourning assemblies and the recitation of the Holy Quran were held in remembrance of the martyrs of Quetta and Karachi; Rulers and politicians must cut their ties with all banned groups; Anti-terrorism act should be implemented - Abul Hassan Taqi.

RAWALPINDI, August 6: In accordance with the announcement of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Friday was observed as Youm e Tarheem for the elevation of the ranks of martyrs of Quetta and Karachi and victims of other incidents. Remembrance gatherings and recitation of the Holy Quran were held under the auspices of the TNFJ, its sub organizations, and other religious and matami organizations in the federal capital Islamabad, Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, and other cities and town of the country. On this occasion protest rallies were also held against continued terrorism in the country. While delivering their sermons during Friday congregations, Ullama e karaam and speakers highly condemned uncontrollable chain of terrorism in Quetta and Karachi and declared it as the evil actions of our arch enemy.

A protest rally was taken out from Darbar Sakhi Shah Payara by the regional council of TNFJ Rawalpindi, which was led by the President TNFJ council Rawalpindi Allama Abdul Hassan Taqi, Syed Qasim Ali Shah, Syed Sajjad Hussain Kazmi, Syed Mohsin Abbas Kazmi, General Secretary MSO Syed Aun Abbas Kazmi and other prominent leaders of TNFJ. The protest rally congregated at Hali Road where Allama Syed Abdul Hassan Taqi addressed those gathered and said that our arch enemy is involved in the continued terrorism in Quetta and Karachi and those who became the victims of terrorism are the sons of this land. He expressed his determination that the blood of the martyrs will not go vain. Terrorism, blood shedding and idols of prejudice will be shattered with demonstration of unity and brotherhood.

Participants were repeating the slogans of “Death of a martyr is a life of a nation, teachings of Karbala - submission to Allah; Shia and Sunni are brothers of one another, Moosavi your name will remain till the Day of Judgment”. On this occasion a resolution was approved in which great grief and anxiety was expressed over shedding of innocent blood in Quetta, the capital of the largest province, Baluchistan and the economical hub of Pakistan, Karachi. The whole country is in the grip of bloodshed; In Karachi, people are being slain one after another without any pause, every home has become a place of mourning, every person is crying, horrified and afraid. The government and its alliances are constantly begging for peace but things are continuing to spiral out of control. Our arch-enemy is utilizing all its energies, is equipped with all kinds of ammunition and violating all the rules of ethics and human rights in order to crush Pakistan all together.  It was re-iterated in the resolution that it is the responsibility of the rulers, politicians, all classes and the inhabitants of the beloved motherland to avoid getting emotional and instead use their wits and intellect since the solution of our problem lies in tolerance and patience; which is the key to success.

While expressing kind sentiments to the bereaved of those martyred, prayers were made for the quick return to health of the wounded and it was demanded from the government that it must compensate those affected by terrorism as soon as possible. Criminals should be given exemplary punishments and strict action should be taken against declared banned groups; sanctions should be put on their activities with new identities and coverage in the media.

In the resolution it was pledged with full determination that under the visionary leadership of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Moosavi we will always be ready to present any kind of sacrifice, including our lives, for the defense, integrity and solidarity of our beloved homeland, Pakistan. The procession peacefully dispersed while raising slogans.

In connection with Youm e Tarheem second largest procession was held at Abid Majeed Road Rawalpindi which was started from Qasr e Abu Talib.  The procession was headed by Allama Syed Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Allama Qalb E Abbas Bukhari, Central president MO Malik Ali Furkani, H M Jafferi, Syed Naseer Hussain Sabzwari, Sajjad Yousif Bangash, Malik Sultan Jafri, Asif Kazmi and other prominent leaders. On this occasion, while addressing the procession, Chaudhry Mushtaq Hussain said that it is the duty of the state to protect its public and their properties. He stressed that if rulers cannot provide security to the subjects then they do not have any right to rule. He said that because of terrorism incidents, the only Muslim atomic power faced a very heavy human loss. Participants showed their disappointment over the relationship of rulers and politicians with banned groups. In the resolution a humble request was made to Chief Justice Iftakhar Muhammad Chaudhry that he himself should take notice of this sensitive situation and concrete steps should be taken to get rid of terrorism and the banned groups responsible. It was re-iterated in the resolution that Interior Minister Rahman Malik cannot fool the public by making coalitions with banned groups and in the media talking about peace formulas. It was pledged in the resolution that Shia and Sunni are brothers of each other, are strong branches of Islam and no one can break up their relations.

While addressing to the mourning assembly in connection with Youm e Tarheem arranged by the district council TNFJ Islamabad at Imam Bargah Khadija Tul Kubra Tarlai Kalaan, Allama Basharat Hussain Imami said that behind every terrorist activities in Pakistan, agents of colonial powers are involved who are afraid of Pakistan’s Atomic power and its Islamic ideology. He demanded from the government to end terrorism through solid policies and to implement the Anti-Terrorism Act.

Meanwhile information received at the central office of TNFJ, on the occasion of Youm e Tarheem programs of Majalis and protest rallies were organized in Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta, Mazafar Abad, Faisal Abad, Bakhar, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Attock, Gujranwala, Shekhupura, Skardo, Gilgit, Qasoor, Larkana, Hyderabad, Sakhar, Khaerpur Meras, Gujrat, Chakwal, Dera Ismail Khan, Sargodha, Mianwali, Jhelum and other big cities and towns throughout the country on Friday.
