RAWALPINDI, May 29: The Majalis-e-Aza programmes of Ayyam Madar-e-Abbas Alamdar observed on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in connection with the Shahadat of Hazrat Ummul Baneen (S.A.) , the mother of Qamar Bani Hashim Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.S.) concluded here on Saturday. Majalis-e-Aza and Matamdari programmes were organized at Imambargahs and Aza Khanas under the auspices of different religious and Matmi organizations. A Majlis-e-Aza was organized by Ummul Baneen WF, Girl Guides and Sakina Generation at Markazi Imambargah Jamia Al-Murtaza G-9/4, Islamabad. Khateeba Aal-e-Rasool Tahira Batool Haideri (daughter of Taj-ul-Manazareen Allama Tajuddin Haideri) addressing the Majlis said that for the praise of Fazeelat of Hazrat Ummul Baneen (A.S.), it is enough that she is the mother of a son like Hazrat Abbas (A.S.) and she sacrificed her four sons for Hussain (A.S.) in Karbala in way of Islam. She said observing the days of pious personalities is necessary in the present situation because the world has forgotten those personalities who have served humanity and sacrificed all they had for Islam, therefore, the key to our welfare and survival lay in highlighting their teachings and follow the same practically. Malaika Ghaffar, Zakira Tahira Bilquees, Dr. Khanum Zehra Gul, Sheher Bano Naqvi, Zainab Alvia, and Binte Musa Moosavi also addressed the Majlis that followed Taboot Hazrat Ummul Baneen (S.A.) and Matamdari. Ummul Baneen WF, Girl Guides, and workers of Sakina Generation Islamabad performed the security duties.

A resolution adopted on the occasion strongly condemned attacks on the places of worship of Ahmadies and said targeting the places of worship is a coward act. The resolution said that these attacks have proved the long-standing point of view of the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi that a terrorist keeps no Maktab or a country, he is only a terrorist and should be seen and tackled in that context. Expressing grief on the killing of four police officials including an SHO as a result of firing at police mobile in Quetta and demanded from the government to take practical steps to stop continued incidents of target killings. Strongly condemning the desecration of Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) in the examination papers of Gujranwala and Hyderabad Boards, the resolution considered it the desecration of Rasool Al-Saqlain (SAAW) that is unpardonable crime. The resolution demanded from the government to take immediate legal action against those who dared commit this blasphemous act. The resolution said the statement of Federal Minister for Religious Affairs is not enough in which he has suggested to admonish the alleged accused as there is need to register a case against them under the Namoos-e-Risalat Wa Ahle Bait and Sahaba Act and give them exemplary punishment.

Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information of the TNFJ addressing a Majlis-e-Aza organized by Syed Muazzam Ali Rizvi Advocate at Imambargah Zainul Abideen said that whereas the Mardan-e-Haq had sacrificed their life for the survival of Islam and supremacy of Shariat-e-Muhammadi, the respected women also performed such great deeds through their character and that are considered golden chapter of the history. He said the mothers at large would have to inculcate the spirit of sacrifice of Hazrat Ummul Baneen (S.A.) in them so as to get rid of the colonial oppression and terrorism. He made it clear that the slaves of Ummul Baneen’s (S.A.) Sher i.e. Abbas Ba-Wafa (A.S.) do not accept the attitude of Shimr type people in any era. He said today the whole world is raising slogans of dignity of women but the Mukhaderaat-e-Ismat and Taharat were forced to march bare-headed in the streets of Kufa and Shaam and were also presented bare-headed in the courts of Yazid and Ibne Ziad and people raise voice of protest against these acts even today i.e. the philosophy of Azadari the purpose of which is raising voice against oppression and brutality and support the oppressed. Allama Nasir Abbas Multan, Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Madras, Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri, Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri, and Zakir Yassir Ghaffar also addressed the Majlis while Syed Raza Kazmi, Bu Turab Askari, and Shaikh Wasim Abbas presented Soz-o-Salam.
