RAWALPINDI, May 18: The Youm-e-Shahadat of Bint-e-Paighambar Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zehra (S.A.) was observed throughout the country with religious spirit, devotion and respect marking conclusion of Aalmi Ashra Aza-e-Fatimia. Majalis-e-Aza were held and Matmi processions were taken out in all small and big cities and towns of the country while Taboot Khatoon-e-Jannat were taken out in the ladies’ Majalis. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi addressing the Majlis-e-Fatimia said that Asswah of Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zehra (S.A.) is the beacon of light and an example to follow who rendered valuable services for promoting Tauheed, Risalat and Wilayat in the most difficult situations. He said the exemplary pious character of Syeda Tahira (S.A.) is beacon of light for womenfolk in every era. He said following the pious seerat of Khanwada-e-Ismat is the need of the hour so as to negate the western image of woman.

Agha Moosavi said presence of blasphemous images on internet is a slap in the face of OIC. He said the Muslim Ummah should first get their ‘daman’ cleaned by restoring the honour and dignity of Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah so as to enable themselves to stop enemies of Islam from carrying out miscreant activities. Strongly condemning the blast near Police mobile in Dera Ismail Khan Tuesday, he termed it an open act of barbarism and continuation of terrorism. He said terrorists were taking last breathes owing to operation carried out by the Pakistan’s Armed Forces. He called upon the government to take notice of activities of banned groups with new names and media coverage to them and activate Anti-Terrorism Act to root out terrorism.

In Islamabad, peaceful protest rallies were taken out to lodge protest against internet competition of blasphemous images named “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day” being launched by the Zionist lobby and against the destruction of holy shrines in Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah. Protest resolutions were also adopted during these rallies. Mukhtar Students Organisation Islamabad staged a big protest demonstration in front of National Press Club which was led by Ulema, intelligentsia, religious scholars belonging to different schools of thought, MSO Central Chairman Syed Bu Ali Mehdi, Central President Syed Baqar Naqvi and other leaders. The demonstrators were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans. Syed Bu Ali Mehdi addressing the demonstrators said had all Muslim States and OIC taken a right step against publication of blasphemous images then no one would have the courage to stage a competition of blasphemous images. He said if the international organisations did nothing against this evil activity and Muslim States failed to take concrete steps towards this direction then it would be tantamount to inviting the wrath of God.

The resolution presented by Syed Baqar Hussain Naqvi was adopted unanimously by the participants. The resolution expressed concern that this year, the Youm-e-Shahadat of beloved daughter (S.A.) of the Paighambar-e-Islam (SAAW) is being observed in tragic situation as the Zionist lobby has announced to observe a competition based on blasphemous images called “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day” on May 20. This condemnable activity of freedom of expression is actually an invitation to commit blasphemy. The resolution made it clear that blasphemous act is actually an insult to all Anbia from Adam (A.S.) to Khatim (SAAW) and is tantamount to biggest act of terrorism. The international organizations, the United Nations should take immediate notice of this worst type of blasphemous act. All nations, particularly the Muslim rulers, are under the obligation to condemn this activity rather they should take up this issue on the forum of the United Nations. The resolution said that had the Muslims themselves respected their Mashaheer and Sha’air then the atheists would not have the courage to commit desecration of Quran and Rasool (SAAW).
