RAWALPINDI, July 17: The Youm-e-Wiladat of Qamar-e-Bani Hashim Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Ibne Ali (A.S.) was observed as a part of Hafta Wila-e-Muhammad and Aal-e-Muhammad as announced by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Festive functions were organized in all small and big cities of the country on this occasion. Ulema Karaam, Waizeen, and Zakireen throwing light on the character and seerat of Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.S.) declared its practical following and the best and complete example to follow. Mahafil-e-Milad and festive functions were organized by religious and Matmi organizations and religious institutions in connection with the Jashan Ghazi Abbas (A.S.) in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
A special function was organized under the auspices of Khanwada-e-Mashadi at Aza Khana Masooma-e-Qum on the topic of “Alamdar Lashkar-e-Hussaini”. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, addressing the function, said that in Karbala incident, inheritor of Shujaat-e-Haideri, Hazrat Abbas (A.S.) let his hands chopped off but did not let the Parcham-e-Hussain bow down and wrote a history such a history of faithfulness and sacrifice with his blood that would be helpful for the oppressed and have-nots oppressors and brutal elements. He said even today the Parcham-e-Abbas is a ray of hope for the broken hearts. He said the Parcham-e-Hussainiyyat washed in the pious blood of Abbas Alamdar (A.S.) in every nook and corner of the world today with full brightness. Mufti Syed Basim Abbas Zahiri, Naqqash Naqvi, Mohsin Raza Bilali, and Malik Qasim also addressed the gathering. Syed Jone Ali Mashadi conducted the proceedings while Amir Bokhari recited from the Holy Quran.
The participants of the Mehfil, in a resolution, vowed to support any line of action given by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for achievement of pious goals. Another resolution expressed complete solidarity with freedom-loving oppressed the world over including Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
Syeda Binte Ali Moosavi addressing a Mehfil-e-Milad organized by Anjuman Kaneezan-e-Imam Al-Asr Waz Zaman at Shoeb-e-Abi Talib in connection with the Wiladat Ba Saadat of Hazrat Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (A.S.) said that Qamar-e-Bani Hashim Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (S.A.) is the symbol of faithfulness who wrote a history of sacrifice and faithfulness which teaches a lesson of honouring Ehad-o-Paiman to all and sundry. She said the Saqqa-e-Sakina (A.S.) rooted out Yazidiyyat once for all by taking over Farat. She said the name of Abbas (A.S.) is the symbol of faithfulness even today.
Allama Syed Hussain Muqaddasi addressing a Mehfil at Masjid and Imambargah Ahle Bait, Wah Cantt. declared the Asswah of Qamar-e-Bani Hashim (A.S.) as the best source of survival for the humanity entangled with problems. Hafiz Amjad Ali Amjad also addressed the Mehfil on this occasion.
