RAWALPINDI, August 22: The Youm-e-Wafaat of Khatoon-e-Awwal Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was observed as “Universal Youm Al-Huzn” throughout the country with religious spirit, devotion and respect on the call of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboot of Hazrat Khadijtul Kubra (S.A.) was taken out in ladies’ Majalis throughout the country. Ulema and Khutaba highlighted the seerat of Ummul Momineen (S.A.) and paid homage to her invaluable sacrifices for Islam in their address.

 

            In Rawalpindi, Allama Shaikh Ijaz Hussain Madras addressing a Majlis organized at Ali Masjid, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi under the auspices of Syed Muazzam Ali Rizvi Advocate said, Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) was that respectable woman who threw all her belongings at the feet of Holy Prophet (SAAW) and led a very difficult life in Shoeb-e-Abi Talib but did not leave patience rather kept on thanking Allah. Allama Nasir Abbas, Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri, Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider Al-Haideri, and Zakir Marwat Hussain Marwat also addressed the gathering.

 

             A resolution unanimously adopted on the occasion expressed shock over the flood ravages in the country and stressed the nation that everyone is under the obligation to stand up to help out the countrymen affected with floods in this hour of need. The resolution demanded from the government to accept the proposal of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and give the job of receiving the internal and external financial assistance and disseminating the same to the affected judiciously to Pakistan Army instead of making a separate Commission for the purpose as the Army jawans are busy in saving the life and belongings of the flood affected day and night putting their life at risk. Another resolution strongly condemned the continued incidents of target killings and termed the same and heinous conspiracy of enemies of the religion and the motherland.

        

          Khateeba Prof. Perveen Zaidi addressing the central ladies’ Majlis organized by Ummul Baneen WF, Sakina Generation, and Girl Guides at Markazi Imambargah Jamia Al-Murtaza G-9/4, Islamabad said, Quran has given supremacy to four women from amongst the women at large and Malika-e-Kainaat Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is one of them and Allah Has termed her deed as of His own on which Quranic Ayah stands witness that goes: Rasool, We found you poor, then we made you wealthy. All Mufassarin, she said, agree that this Ayah is a clear-cut reference towards Hazrat Khadija (S.A.). She said Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) provided all her wealth to strengthen Islam, whereas the offspring of Abdul Muttalib i.e. Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) provided manpower to the Rasool (SAAW) for this purpose. Zakira Hafeeza Khatoon and Zakira Malaika Ghaffar also addressed the Majlis that followed taking out of Taboot of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) and Matamdari. Ummul Baneen WF, Sakina Generation, and Girl Guides provided security arrangements.

           

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Convener of the Universal Youm Al-Huzn Committee of the TNFJ addressing a Majlis-e-Aza at Markazi Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra said, that Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is the Mohsina-e-Islam and Quran stands witness to her blessings. He said she has the honour to be the first woman Musaddiqa-e-Paighambar and Islam prospered through her wealth and courtesy to the sacrificed offered by her Aal (A.S.).

           

Meanwhile, according to reports reaching the office of Universal Youm Al-Huzn Committee of the TNFJ, Majalis-e-Aza in connection with the Universal Youm
Al-Huzn were held and Taboot of Hazrat Khadija (S.A.) were taken out in ladies’ Majalis in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Hyderabad, Karachi, Sukkur, Khairpur Mirs, Multan, Lahore, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Kharian, Kasur, Shikarpur, Fatehjang, Pindi Gheb, Deena, and Sialkot.
