RAWALPINDI, April 21: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said the practical following of the Fikr-e-Iqbal and principles of Quaid-i-Azam are necessary to achieve the aims and objectives of the creation of Pakistan. This was stated by him while addressing a special function on the occasion of Iqbal Day. He said all religions and nations follow their own principles and Islam enjoys supremacy over all other religions. He made it clear that religion of Islam is our Nazria-e-Asaasi and the Rasool-e-Akram (SAAW) had delivered a khutba in the plains of Khum-e-Ghadeer saying that Ali (A.S.) is Maula of those I am the Maula of whom. He said soon after this announcement a Quranic Ayah gave the certificate of completion of the religion and the blessings and said Allah is happy with you (Rasool). He said Muslim ruled a big portion of the world until they followed that ideology and the situation reversed when they negated that ideology.

Agha Moosavi said Islamic ideology is the great objective of Pakistan Movement and it comprises commandments of Allah and is the source of guidance for us in the shape of Quran and Hadees. He said Hindus were living in this region and were keeping a separate culture, and there were two opposite ideologies i.e. Hinduism and Islam. He said Islam told us that Muslim is the brother of other Muslim and every one enjoys rights on the basis of equality. He said Quran declared it Khair-e-Ummat while all isms of the world were utilized their all out energy to sabotage Islamic ideology. He reminded that when the international colonial powers and western political thinking tried to gain influence on this soil, Allama Iqbal was the first one to apprise Muslims about that threat and stated the Two-Nation Theory in these words:

The TNFJ chief said that the Fikr-e-Iqbal accelerated political entangling and signs of English leaving the Indian region began to crop up. He said the Hindu Banya was ready to grab whole India and make Muslims their slaves but Iqbal advised the Quaid-i-Azam to take over the leadership of Muslims who fulfilled his responsibility with sincerity of purpose, courage and bravery and forced the atheist world to accept the Two-Nation Theory and the dream of a separate homeland for Muslims came true. He said the explanation of Pakistan’s ideology was made in a way that religion of Islam is the moving force for creation of Pakistan, and its universal principles are justice and fair-play, freedom and equality, brotherhood and love, while Islam is Millat-e-Wahida like Kufr is Millat-e-Wahida. He said the Quaid-i-Azam in his address on February 18, 1948 had stated: “There should be no doubt that foundation of Pakistan is not theocracy but Islam that keeps the strength to bear all beliefs, therefore, we welcome those nations who desire to join the development and progress of Pakistan and Pakistan ideology is the essence of Islam”. He said these words of the Quaid have made it clear that Pakistan also guarantees protection of honour and dignity of non-Muslim nations.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi lamented that theocracy is ruling in Pakistan after the Quaid-i-Azam which is damaging for the nation and the country. He said we would have to control our problems and difficulties and give priority to national interests over personal interests so as to turn Pakistan into a hub of peace. This was the dream of Allama Iqbal while Quaid-i-Azam made this dream come true and in it lay the key to development and progress of Pakistan and welfare of the people, he concluded.
