Ayatollah Al-Uzma Mohsin Al-Hakeem has made unsuccessful the conspiracy aimed at spreading atheism in the Islamic States. Dr. Taqi Jawwad

RAWALPINDI, April 14: Dr. Taqi Jawwad, Central Secretary (Public Relations), Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said that courageous point of view of Ayatollah Al-Uzma Mohsin Al-Hakeem against communism has successfully stopped the conspiracy which aimed to spread atheism in the Islamic States. These views were expressed by him while addressing the “Al-Hakeem Conference” organized at Al-Murtaza Hall Islamabad to pay homage to Ayatollah Al-Uzma Mohsin Al-Hakeem for his services and deeds rendered for the religion as a part of “Hafta Ehteram-e-Marja’aiyyat”. He said in that era when intelligentsia and scholars were being bought and communism was making its effects the world over, particularly in the Islamic States, Ayatollah Al-Uzma Mohsin Al-Hakeem sensing the situation achieved universal fame by declaring communism as atheism.

            Dr. Taqi Jawwad while highlighting the life of Ayatollah Al-Uzma Mohsin Al-Hakeem, said he was born in a scholarly and religious family in 1306 Hijra. He sought knowledge from Ayatollah Yazdi, Ayatollah Zia Iraqi, and Ayatollah Nainee. He was placed as Marja’a Azam of Hoza Ilmia Najaf-e-Ashraf after the demise of Ayatollah Mohsin Al-Hakeem. He said in the Maja’aiyyat of Ayatollah Mohsin Al-Hakeem, Hoza Ilmia Najaf-e-Ashraf achieved expansion and the number of its students reached 8,000 while many changes were brought to Hoza’s curriculum. Ayatollah Mohsin Al-Hakeem’s wrote his comments on the first edition of famous book on Fiqh “Urwa-tul-Wusqah” that came to forth in the name of “Mustamsik” and this scholarly work had shattered the world of knowledge. He breathed his last on 27^th Rabiul Awwal in 1390 Hijra and was laid to rest in the great and modern library established by him in Najaf-e-Ashraf.

            Dr. Taqi Jawwad said that Wakil of Ayatollah Al-Uzma Mohsin Al-Hakeem i.e. Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi enjoys a distinguished position in the Ulema-e-Najaf who performed invaluable services in Pakistan from the platform of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya and thwarted the conspiracy to make first Islamic ideological State i.e. Pakistan a sectarian State. He said the Khanwada of Ayatollah Mohsin Al-Hakeem performed many unforgettable services on practical front and more than 60 scholarly personalities of his Khanwada kissed Shahadat at the hands of Ba’asi government. His son Ayatollah Baqar Al-Hakim raised protest against American aggression on Iraq as a result of which he was martyred in Najaf-e-Ashraf. He said Ayatollah Najamul Hassan Haideri who studied at Pakistan’s great religious institution also kissed Shahadat along with the Hakim Khanwada. He said the services rendered by Ayatollah Mohsin Al-Hakeem and his Khanwada will be remembered for ever.

            Maulana Ali Raza Zaidi, Prof. Mushtaq Ali, Assad Ali Hasani, and Syed Muhammad Abbas Kazmi also addressed the Conference.
